In the Momany lab, we have a project on antifungal resistance in the pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus. For this project, the lab focuses on understanding antifungal-resistance in the environment by exploring the mechanisms of resistance to azole drugs, lipid homeostasis, and the evolution of Cyp51 protein.
